What a shame..!
After the opening games, with a sprinking of surprise results I am left wondering if England has the mental and physical strength to go all the way.
Forget about the beautiful game out there, on the pitch it's a dogfight. The aim is to get on top of your opponent, mentally and physically, and finish them off. Lately England has not shown these attributes brought about probably by their pampered lifestyle of too much money, parties, private jets,visits to the hairdresser, childish goal celebrations and other distractions.
The sight of English players falling over and pleading for a free kick when they should be up and into it confirms my suspicions.
The exception of course is young Wayne Rooney, hard as nails and still with that never-say-die approach to the game ... what a shame it hasn't rubbed off onto some of his team-mates but long-suffering English fans live in hope.
